Lightning Strikes Home in Amarillo, Texas

SERVPRO^® of West Amarillo has been serving the Texas Panhandle for nearly 15 years and still continues to experience new types of damage every single day, gaining experience as they go. This Amarillo home was struck by lightning.  The window nearest the strike, which was at the roof peak, was ruined.  The strike also caused most of the Sheetrock on the ceiling to collapse, dumping insulation onto the room below. SERVPRO^® of West Amarillo was called and went right to work mitigating the damage.  The rooms unaffected were blocked off with sheets of plastic that were then secured. The debris and then the room was cleaned.
