CDC Cleaning Guidlines

As we continue to deal with the effects of COVID-19, SERVPRO of West Amarillo recommends the daily cleaning of the following items (in accordance with the current CDC recommendations):

• Kitchen/Food Areas
• Bathrooms
• Schools/Classrooms
• Offices
• Retail Spaces
• Water Fountains
• shelving/Racks 
• Sales Counters
• Carpets and Rugs
• Stair Handrails
• Elevators and Escalators
• Playground Equipment
• Fitness equipment

** CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky announced changes Monday April 5, 2021, saying that science has shown that regular cleaning of surfaces with soap is enough to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus via surface transmission.

SERVPRO professionals are trained to perform a proactive cleanup that involves facility or structure cleaning and disinfection.  Cleanup procedures generally include cleaning of porous and non-porous surfaces, disinfecting of non-porous surfaces, cleaning and disinfecting of equipment, tools, and/or supplies used for cleanup process, and disposal of waste.
